Volunteer Referral Officers at the Impact Volunteering Information and Referral Desk (located in the Frankston Library), undertake the core role of meeting with and referring prospective volunteers to suitable positions listed from organisations registered on our database. And we’re looking for more superstar team members to undertake these voluntary positions.

Impact Volunteering is a not-for-profit organisation based in Frankston City, matching and supporting volunteers and organisations in the community through individual, face-to-face consultations, which provide a personalised experience for each person seeking a volunteer position.

To excel as a VRO you’ll need to have outstanding customer service skills that will allow you to deliver a professional, friendly, non-judgmental, respectful, ‘think outside the box’ and helpful approach. As well as working to maintain positive relationships with our registered organisations, daily administration style tasks form an integral part of this role that is critical to the efficient running of our front-line operation.

We’re looking for people who can make an ongoing commitment. That means this role is ideally suited to mature, community minded individuals with a can-do, solution focused attitude and the ability to work autonomously within a team environment on a regular roster.

There will be plenty of opportunity to meet new people as well as build and update your skills. Induction, training and ongoing support are provided.
