Family Health Support Services

Volunteers in Family Health Support Services assist in making a difference to the lives of young and older people, people with a disbility and their carers within the Frankston Municipality. Family Health Support Services provide a range of opportunities for volunteers. Programs are focused on supporting residents to remain independent, active and connected with the community they live in.

Council’s Family Health Support Services welcomes volunteers to assist in the following areas:

  • Meals on Wheels

    Volunteers are welcome to assist our staff with food preparation, platingup and hygiene components within our kitchen. Other roles at Meals on Wheels include driving/delivering meals to our clients

  • Frankston Seniors Festival

    Assist staff with the organisation and running of activities and events throughout the festival

  • Planned Activity Group Program

    Assisting staff at activities and outings in the community

  • Positive Ageing Reference Group

    Provide feedback and advice to Council on issues facing older people

  • Children’s Services

    Assistance in our child and family centre and programs
